The primary curriculum of RCIS is based on the NCERT frame work as per CBSE. The students will achieve fluency in spoken and written English through interactive teaching methods.
Core subjects will be as follows :
Ist language :English
IInd language :Hindi or Kannada
Mathematics :Development of number concepts, Elementary Geometry and Mental Maths.
Environmental Science will introduce the world of science through activities, observation and discovery.
Introduction to computers with theory and practical hands on experience will prepare the students for the seamless world of connected learning.
Students will have holistic learning through value education, arts, crafts and sports activities.
Home work and project guidelines
Parents will be expected to refer to the student diary regularly and ensure that homework is completed and submitted in the allocated time by the student. Parental involvement in the child’s learning process lays the foundation for future success. Parents can assist the child with research and collaborative work on projects.
Continuous assessments through Unit Tests, Class Tests, Work sheets, Mental Maths and Dictations form a part of the evaluation process. Progress reports of the child will be discussed and handed over during the Parent – Teacher Meetings. Students’ assessment also includes assessment of conduct, discipline and participation in school activities.
