Royale Concorde International School celebrated its Annual Day - ‘Concordia’ with great splendour on 26th November 2015. The theme was a confluence of harmony, love, peace and strongly sent across a message of universal brotherhood and tolerance. It brought together people from all walks of life, transcending all cultures, generations and communities.
The programme began with an invocation followed by the lighting of the lamp by the Chief guest Mr. L.R. Shivarame Gowda. Dr. Zachariah, Senior Director Operations, Fortius Universitas was the Guest of honour. The Principal addressed the gathering by presenting the school report that traced the progress, major events and achievements of the school.
The life-size props, light effects and music brought out the museum characters alive, giving an extraordinary experience to the awestruck audience. The whole show was a wonderful fusion of eastern & western culture.
A stunning sequence of various dance forms like Tribal, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Mexican, Russian, Classical dance from around the Globe exhilarated the audience and transported them to different lands. The history of the world with its diverse customs, cultures and political issues was portrayed through skits, dramas, speeches, music and dance.
The programme rose to a final crescendo with the grand finale and ended in a beautiful resonance lingering in the minds of everyone.
Dr. Zacharia, Sr.Director Operations – Fortius Universitas and the Executive member of World School Council was the guest of honour for the RCIS Annual Day – Concordia which was held on the 26th of November 2015.
His address on the occasion affirming the accreditation of RCIS as one of the topmost six best schools in India, brought a sense of pride and esteem in each and every member of the RCIS family. In his speech he threw light upon the fact that the world is shifting towards being a global village and the modern technology is rapidly overpowering the old practices that were followed in the past.
He referred to RCIS as an early bird that could proficiently pick the worm and hence rightfully deserves the accreditation among the best six schools that are bestowed with an A grade. It was indeed a great honour to know, that among the 1270 institutions all over 76 countries RCIS has secured an A grade accreditation for three years as the only school from the academic sector.
He added that, this accreditation not only brings grants to provide world class facilities to students but also provides them assistance programmes that would enable them to carry out their ambitions to the desired levels.
