Success in school, as in life, depends on a multiplicity of factors-social and emotional intelligence, self-understanding, self-control, assertiveness, decision-making, empathy, and connection to community. Our activities are carefully designed to bring out the innate potential of every individual student.

House System

Students are grouped into houses namely-Athena, Ares, Apollo and Artemis to encourage greater participation in sports, cultural and other activities.  Belonging to a particular house generates camaraderie, motivation, enthusiasm and a healthy spirit of competition in the students. Students will be allocated different School Houses from Class I onwards.

Co-Curricular Activities

  • Recitation, Story Telling
  • Essay-writing, Debate, Declamation
  • Public Speaking, Creative Writing, General Knowledge, Quiz etc.
  • Informative lectures by visiting speakers eminent in their fields will be arranged to benefit the students and the staff.
  • Class and Group Projects are other ways in which imagination and teamwork is developed.

Uniformed Services  

Organised uniformed services like Scouts, Girl Guides and Interact – the student program from Rotary International to inculcate a sense of discipline, a secular outlook and a spirit of helping others. Adventure activities like hiking, trekking are organised through private organizers

Extra Curricular activities

To ensure the complete development of the children, the students are encouraged to take part in various co-curricular activities held in school such as music, dance, arts and sports. The campus is well equipped with the modern infrastructural facilities such as spacious ventilated class rooms with the latest teaching aids, rich library, state-of-the-art computer labs, science labs and play ground. RCIans have consistently won in many Inter school competitions and brought honours to the school.

Festivals & Functions

All national & important festivals, and special days are celebrated to create an awareness of cultural diversity and national ethos. Teachers’ Day, Childrens’ Day, Independence Day, and Republic Day call for special celebrations. The Teaching and Student community participate with much enthusiasm and gusto.  Annual Sports and Annual School day celebrations are grand celebrations that the parent and student community look forward to.
